Secretary will support and assist legal department in maintaining documents and files to ensure accurate and accessible records. Help support legal staff with general word processing and copying needs. The assistant will create and maintain files including data input, and organize and close files. Review accident reports and prepare letters in anticipation of litigation. The secretary will answer phones, open and distribute department mail. Coordinate and set up conference calls. The legal assistant will process special check requests. Submit expense reports. Order and put away supplies. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform other duties as required. Requirements: The legal assistant will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have 2+ years of office assistant experience. Law office experience preferred.
